Amazing February 2019

In February, students from Torbay TKD competed in two tournaments to kick start the year!

First, on Sunday 3rd February, the Torbay TKD Tournament Team took part in the Cardiff Martial Arts Interclub tournament. Twenty students represented Torbay and all the students gave brilliant performances! The Torbay competitors came away with a fantastic 35 medals…
22 Gold medals, 7 Silver medals and 6 Bronze medals!

The Second, in Bath, was the UKITF Spring Nationals on Saturday 16th February.
A massive 30 medals were won!
14 Gold, 7 Silver and 9 Bronzes from 16 competitors. An outstanding effort by everyone and a great day was had by all but especially Ben who won FOUR gold medals! Also, many of the black belts earned qualifying places to receive an invitation to the Finals Day in Reading with hopes to go on to represent Team UK at the European Championships this summer. Once again Mr Churchward is very proud of all of you!
